About this event

Series Overview:

Collaboration, engagement, interactivity, and critical thinking are all cornerstones of Project-Based Learning and the elements we strive for in our classes. Attend this series of workshops to discover how Project-Based Learning can elevate your classes and take your participants’ learning experience to the next level! Attendance to both sessions is strongly encouraged as the sessions build on each other, and we will not be reviewing the previous session.

Note: Registration and attendance for both online sessions is strongly suggested as the sessions build on each other in a progressive sequence.

Session 1: Introducing Project-Based Learning

The Million Dollar Question: How can we prepare participants for work readiness and academic autonomy beyond work done in the classroom? The answer is Project-Based Learning(PBL)! Project-based learning is a teaching method in which participants gain a further knowledge of content and skill through the process of investigation while responding to a question, challenge or prompt. Attend this workshop to discover how the seven principles of Project-Based Learning can prepare our participants to tackle challenges proactively while reinforcing solution-orientated thinking.
